Mrs. Orton hopes that 7hc1, 8hc4, 9c2, are enjoying the 'belated white Christmas'... remember, an hour or so of 'brain activity' is good for the soul too!  BBC Bitesize and 'My Maths' are both educational and fun, have a go!

 

Mrs. Orton's year 10c4 class - Prior to the fall of snow we discussed your Speaking and Listening activity - You could use this time to compile your 3 minute presentation on 'My Ambition'.  

 

Mrs. Orton's year 10h1 class - We have taken great pains with our current piece of coursework - Your 'Personal & Imaginative' coursework should be nearing completion.

 

Mrs. Orton's Year 11 classes - As our Shakespeare examination looms ahead it is important that we remain focused and driven, even during this period of white snow and excitement.  There are a number of resources placed upon the VLE for revision purposes.  Use your time wisely chaps, we have engaged in a great deal of revision thus far and I believe you will undoubtedly do your very best.  Stick to the PEE structure when analysing language, character, stage directions and themes. IMPORTANT NOTE:  AVOID MERELY RE-TELLING TEXTUAL EVENTS - USE YOUR POWERS OF ANALYSIS.
